Lake Delton Drains, June 2008

On June 8th, 2008 the entire lake emptied out after the Danville River Damn failed and was washed away. during the sudden rush sent over 245 acres of water into the Wisconsin river. While this water left the man made lake it took three houses with it. The lake was closed for ten months for reconstruction and was officially reopened on April 28th, 2009. It cost the government 1.8 million to fix the bridge.
